TheConsumerBuy publishes side-by-side comparisons of consumer products. We pick a category, score every serious contender against the same criteria, and tell you which one we'd buy — and why the others lost.
How we compare
Fixed criteria per category
Before we look at a single product, we define what matters in that category and how much each factor is worth. Every contender is then scored against the same list.
Hands-on where it counts
Specs only tell you so much. Where a product has to be lived with — comfort, battery, durability — we use it for weeks before we rank it.
Cons stay in
Every pick gets a cons list, including the one we rank first. A comparison that only lists upsides is an advert, not a comparison.
Rankings are not for sale
We earn a commission when readers buy through our links. Commission rates are never an input to the ranking, and a higher payout never moves a product up.
Comparisons live at their own address rather than in a feed. If you arrived here from an ad or a search result, the guide you were looking for is the page you came from.
