How We Protect Editorial Independence

Our comparison methodology is defined before we evaluate any products. Criteria are set at the category level — for example, a comparison of portable chargers will always weigh battery capacity, charging speed, build quality, and price. Individual products are scored against those fixed criteria. At no point in this process does commission rate enter the equation.

We regularly publish comparisons where the top-ranked product has a lower affiliate payout than its competitors. If a product is the best option for the reader, that's the product we recommend.
